Carlos Yuraszeck serves as SVP, Technical Operations at Talaris, based in Louisville, KY. Before joining Talaris, Carlos enjoyed 15 years with Celgene Corporation, where he held leadership positions within Corporate Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Technical Operations. For the last seven years, Carlos first led Quality and then Clinical Production and Supply teams within Celgene’s Cell Therapy Development & Operations working with cell-based products including CAR-T, CTLs, NK, and MSC-like cells for autologous and allogeneic applications, intended for both homologous and non-homologous use. He also successfully provided oversight and support for the construction of two clinical manufacturing facilities and Celgene’s first commercial cell manufacturing facility providing versatile GMP (US/EU) compliant manufacturing space for cellular products. He also led the design and implemented Celgene’s Chain of Identity and Chain of Custody system, ensuring patient materials were securely managed from collection to infusion. Prior to joining Celgene, Carlos worked for Pfizer, Pharmacia, and Merck in roles of increasing authority in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Validation, and Corporate Compliance. Carlos holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
