David Tollerud

David Tollerud, MD, MPH, is the Vice President of Scientific Affairs. Dr. Tollerud has extensive experience in epidemiology and population studies, particularly those involving the use of immunological biomarkers. He was an invited participant in a series of roundtables for the US Government Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) that developed panels of biomarkers to screen populations with environmental exposures. He has served on and chaired many National Academies of Sciences committees dealing with environmental and public health research and policy, and he was appointed to the Academy’s Roundtable on Environmental Health Sciences, Research, and Medicine. He has been the principal investigator on numerous NIH grants and has an extensive publication record. Prior to joining Regenerex, Dr. Tollerud was professor of Public Health, Medicine, and Pharmacology/Toxicology, and a Distinguished University Scholar at the University of Louisville. He received his Medical Degree from Mayo Medical School, his Masters of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, and his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University
